The Bow
Collection

Deux sœurs, un même ruban sculpté. La Sage, vert tendre comme un jardin de Versailles à l'aube. La Rosé, corail tendre comme un coucher de soleil méditerranéen. Bound by a bow, parted by a hue.

Two sisters, one sculpted ribbon. The Sage, soft green like a Versailles garden at dawn. The Rosé, tender coral like a Mediterranean sunset.

About the Collection

One ribbon, two hues, zero offcuts.

The Bow Collection began as a single question in the studio: could a bow — the softest gesture in fashion — be engineered as structure rather than added as trim? A fabric bow collapses. A printed one carries the bag. Each piece in this collection is a 3D-printed bow purse in which the ribbon is the frame, the closure and the handle mount, all produced in one continuous build with no stitching, no glue and no cut-and-sew waste.

The Sage and the Rosé

The Sage is a muted garden green — cool, herbal, quiet against neutrals and denim, and the easier of the two to wear in daylight. The Rosé is a warm coral blush that reads softer in evening light and carries an outfit on its own. Same tooling, same silhouette, same interior volume; the colour is the only variable, so the pair works as a set without ever looking like a duplicate.

Both are sized as an occasion purse: enough for a phone, cardholder, keys and a lipstick, with a lined interior cavity and a detachable strap so the piece converts between clutch and shoulder carry.

Printed in plant-based bioplastic

Every bow is printed in PLA bioplastic, derived from plant starch instead of petroleum, then hand-sanded and finished in our Saskatoon atelier. Pigment runs through the material rather than sitting on top of it, so the colour cannot chip off. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; avoid prolonged heat above roughly 55 °C, including hot vehicles and direct summer sun on a dashboard.

Made only when ordered

Bows are printed after purchase, in small editions. Nothing is warehoused, nothing is marked down and nothing is destroyed unsold — the collection simply does not exist until someone chooses it. Expect a short make time before dispatch, and a compostable box when it arrives.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between The Sage and The Rosé?
Only the colour. Both bow purses share the same silhouette, tooling and interior volume. The Sage is a muted garden green that sits easily against neutrals and denim; The Rosé is a warm coral blush that reads softer in evening light.
How much fits inside a bow purse?
The Bow Collection is sized as an occasion purse: a phone, cardholder, keys and a lipstick fit comfortably. The interior is lined, and the strap is detachable so the piece converts between clutch and shoulder carry.
Is a 3D-printed bow purse actually strong enough to carry?
Yes — that was the design premise. The bow is engineered as the structural frame, closure and handle mount rather than added as decorative trim, and the whole body is produced in one continuous build with no stitching or glue.
How sustainable is the Bow Collection?
Each bow is printed in plant-based PLA bioplastic only after it is ordered, so there is no cut-and-sew offcut waste, no unsold stock and no markdown cycle. Pieces ship in a compostable box.
Can I order a bow purse in a custom colour?
Bespoke colourways are available through a commission request. Because each bow is printed to order, a different filament colour is usually straightforward to accommodate within the standard make time.
